Some Nations Survive
After this, Daniel is told that some of the other beast nations survive for a brief time. However, they are stripped of their power.
11 . . . “I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.”—Dan 7:11-12 NKJV
The survival of some nations is an indication that Antichrist and his system of control are not universally embraced. This helps explain why the earth is filled with war, economic terror, ecological disasters, and near extinction (Rev. 6).
I believe some nations will recognize the prophetic times and make a stand with God and against Antichrist. It is my prayer that the United States emerges as a sheep nation. I believe this is her calling. As a nation, the US has been the greatest exporter of Christian missionaries. We have flooded the earth with Bibles and Christian media. Believers in other nations, are now praying for us to wake up and recognize the demonic attack against our assignment, and rise with humility and power in our prayers.
In fact, this is actually happening. Bold Christian leaders like Dutch Sheets have been exhorting the Church to pray for decades and the momentum is building. I believe his actions are like king Josiah who went through Israel tearing down places of idolatry and calling his nation to repentance. That season of confrontation gave the people an opportunity to repent and align with God to avoid personal destruction in the coming days.
I have been praying for America for over thirty years. In those early days, God impressed me with a vision of our nation being carried away in a flood of satanic vomit. As I prayed for mercy, I could see a generation rising out of this filth and striking fear in the demonic realm. I have held onto this promise to this very day. In fact, when I write, I hear the cries of the younger generation and their desire to know the truth and be set free from the rampant confusion of this age. I write for them.
Right now, judgement hangs over us because of the killing of our babies, our corrupt politics, and our gluttony for media fed occultism. Even so, I have not surrendered! There are wolves stalking the corridors of power, but there is a remnant that cries for mercy and justice! This remnant has been given authority to bind and loose and they have an open door into the presence of God. We each have family, friends, children, and grandchildren who need our prayers. We have heroes of the faith cheering us on. We have brothers and sisters at our side who walk in holiness and humility. We are bold like lions. We are the head and not the tail. We are not victims—we are warriors!
I believe turbulent times are ahead for America as God intervenes to cleanse us. I am praying for mercy and that we would fall into the hands of God instead of other nations. Either way, I believe the praying Church will stand at the head of the streets as Jeremiah, giving direction and hope to our nation. Now let God arise and His enemies be scattered!
